OASIS

OASIS: EGYPTIAN VOICE THAT MEANS HOME; REFUGE IN SETBACKS.
The garden of La Quinta was witness and refuge of the events of Bolivar’s life between 1820 and 1830. It has the value of showing us the way how men of the XIX century designed, planted and kept this green and rich environment.

La Quinta has had from its construction in 1800’s with the surrounding wall and the running water of the San Francisco River. Isolation and good internal conditions have let it to preserve what today, from our own history, we can see and think again as a rest, rejoicing, production, gallantry.

As a conclusion, the above-mentioned shows us a model of the relation man-nature that has much to teach us. This exhibition wants to emphasize on the garden characteristics and its big collection of vegetal species. For this reason we recognize as alive patrimony this natural inheritance.
